FRAKO power capacitors offer ‘Made in Germany’ quality and form the optimum basis for both fixed installed capacitance for specific duties and controlled power factor correction systems. Our power capacitors incorporate a fourfold safety system for maximum operational reliability. The patented contact ring technology also enables FRAKO to produce completely lead-free capacitors and make yet another improvement to their operating reliability. Each FRAKO power capacitor can be uniquely identified by an individual serial number. It contains Information on data relevant for production and serves as a link to the test and measurement results of the type test. 

FRAKO Reactive Power Control Relays

These reactive power control relays can be employed universally; they adapt themselves automatically to the power factor correction system to which they are connected and to the network requiring this correction. The patented control characteristic curve regulates cos phi to the selected target value and avoids overcorrecting under light load conditions. Charges for reactive power demand are therefore reliably eliminated and the risk of network disruption is reduced.

FRAKO supplies ready-to-connect power factor correction systems in freestanding or wall-mounting cabinets - detuned versions for networks with harmonics, or systems without detuning for harmonic-free installations.
